One of the important priorities in Tetritskaro Municipality is the development of sports. Significant attention is given to women’s involvement in various sports. These include: judo, karate, archery, volleyball, and now football, the main challenge and another important statement from Tetritskaro girls that football is not just a sport for boys.

The financial supporter of women’s football is the Tetritskaro Municipality City Hall. The head coach, Otar Tsiklauri, is actively involved in its popularization and in seeking financial resources from various companies. Through his involvement, the company “Comfortmsheni 21”, which carries out water supply works in Tetritskaro Municipality, purchased uniforms and necessary equipment for the girls. It’s noteworthy that for a certain period, the road company “ENCO” financed the transportation of girls from villages to the city stadium for training. Also, with the financial support of the mining company “RMG”, the girls were funded for away training camps, and after successful games, they received one-time stipends. Additionally, through the initiative of Tetritskaro Youth Center, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Netherlands and the UN Fund, the girls were provided with necessary sports equipment. With the support of the Embassy of the Netherlands, the girls met with members of the Dutch youth national team. The Dutch national team held an introductory meeting and a friendly training session with the girls.
